Standard Operating Procedures
The position of Station Manager is that of Vice President of Fredonia Radio Systems. The Station Manager is in charge of the daily operations of the station.
Duties:
● Maintaining the staff list and key lists
● Recording attendance at general staff meetings and maintain said attendance records
● Distributing warnings and suspensions
● Maintaining and update the FCC Public File
● Maintaining office supplies
● Posting and enforcing office hours
● Making appointments to their respective operations positions
● Supplying and restocking all necessary forms and paperwork
● Assuming the duties of the General Manager in their absence
Chief Archivist
The Chief Archivist is responsible for organizing and maintaining the music Archive of Fredonia Radio Systems and (s)he will report their progress directly to the Station Manager.
Duties:
● Genre sorting music
● Cataloging CDs into an Archive database
● Maintaining organization and assisting with the proper filing of audio recordings
● Training the staff on the Archive database system
● Managing an Archive team
Promotions Manager
The Promotions Manager is appointed by the Station Manager, and (s)he shall report their progress directly to the Station Manager.
Duties:
● Working in conjunction with the various departments to promote station events
● On-air and off-air promotions
● Design and distribution of posters, flyers, handbills, and other visual media
● Ordering of promotional products/items
● Managing a promotions team
Traffic Director
The job of Traffic Director is one that interrelates with many departments at Fredonia Radio Systems. This position involves knowledge of on-air programming, and the Traffic Director should be aware of all current programming.
